The AOO Specialist Indemnity Scheme (AOOSIS) is a member organisation which provides access to dedicated medical indemnity policies for Ophthalmologists working in private practice. Policies are also available for Ophthalmologists working solely in the NHS who wish to have independent cover and for trainees. AOOSIS is an introducer appointed representative of Medical Insurance Consultants Ltd (MIC) who provide the policy advice and administration for the insurance policies offered to members.
