If your application is accepted, then the quote for the cost of your insurance policy will automatically include a £200 annual subscription for your membership of AOOSIS if you are in private practice or £50 if you are an NHS consultant or trainee.

Members are provided with an indemnity insurance policy which covers clinical negligence claims and also crucially offers cover for disputes with employers or the GMC as well as 21 years run off cover following death or permanent retirement from practice.
